I have been afforded several opportunities to be in the presence of Malena Crawford. On two occasions Malena was facilitating workshops to groups of women and on the other occasion she hosted a retreat for women. Regardless of the circumstances surrounding her, I have come to the realization that Malena Crawford is the epitome of a “Sister Whisperer.” She has an innate capacity to understand and interpret any atmosphere in which the audience consists of women. Her genuine openness to any sister is a welcome mat to share one’s concerns or problems without reservation. The radiance of her everlasting smile penetrates those she encounters leaving you feeling good. The gift she has in sharing Herstory in such a manner that it brings hope to any sister’s personal situation is incredible. Whew where do I start?!?! From the first time I shared a room with Malena Crawford at Elevation Weekend in 2018, I knew I was in the company of royalty!! She shared with us tools for telling our story from a place of empowerment and self-worth, even though we have experienced some terrible events in our lives. The imagery she used combined with her honey sweet voice and eloquent way of speaking was captivating to say the least. Since attending this first session I am frequently reminded of her call to action; to reframe my story so that I’m no longer a victim of circumstance, but a Goddess on my throne!! I purchased her novel, “A Fistful of Honey,” as well as the accompanying workbook. You will not be disappointed with any interaction you have with Malena!! But I highly recommend her Honey Experience workshop/gatherings as a beautiful time of sisterhood and self-care! Malena spoke to our group of over 300 women at the Women on the Grow Conference held in George, South Africa. In one room, Malena brought her message to a racially and tribally diverse post-Apartheid group of South African women together for a history-making time of unity and healing. I first heard about Malena and her book through an online book club. I drove a little over an hour to attend Malena's book signing event. Even though I got to the event super late, the time I spent with Malena, learning about her book, was well worth the drive. Malena's warm and friendly demeanor was so delightful. She then invited me to come to an upcoming Honey Experience live gathering, which was transformative! She gently encouraged all of us to heal so that we could begin to create and manifest the life we each desire. Going through the workbook...learning how to identify what is great and what hurts...helped us to lay the foundation for this healing process. I particularly found the affirmations she gave us to be very helpful to this day. Saying them each morning gives me the armor I need to go about my day, silencing any fear or doubt. Malena was a speaker at my G.L.E.A.M (Grow. Learn. Elevate. Admire. Mentor) Women’s Empowerment Conference. 200 women registered and Malena was a beautiful part of that mission. Malena came to empower and encourage women with her book, A Fistful of Honey. One of the things I loved about Malena was her ability to connect with people on a human level. There is no question that her mission is to inspire women through her work and through her actions.

I met first met Malena when I attended her workshop Elevate Your Life. I instantly fell in love with this woman’s openness, authenticity, and heart for women’s healing. I bought her novel and workbook and they both blew me away! I couldn’t believe how she could have written my life story with so much detail and answered so many of the questions I’d been asking God for years. I learned what work I needed to get to this year, but most importantly, clarity on exactly what that is. Today, I am so at peace with who I am and what I have been through. I will be eternally grateful to Malena for following her true calling of becoming a coach and a healer. After reading those books I was ravenous to learn more and keep my process going. I attended one of her Honey Experience live events and my God, she spoke exactly what I prayed to hear all over again. I’ve since shared her books with everyone I can think of, from my good girlfriends to even some male co-workers who’ve loved them too! Malena’s work is a movement, it’s not anywhere near another feel good event, book, or coaching program. I met Malena in such ordinary way. During this time in my life I was extremely lost; not knowing if I was walking in the right direction of my purpose. I met Malena at an afternoon meeting, her story awakened me, but most importantly it was an confirmation of where God wanted me to be. Never in a million years would I think a woman with such beauty, strength and outspoken tone, overcame what I’m facing. Looking at her is the mirror of my future in so many unique ways.
